Hi Friends!! I am so proud of our team and the culture that we’ve built together. It fills my heart up to see how genuinely kind and encouraging our team is with one another.
I’m a big believer that we must create and model the team culture that we’d like to see! It starts with you. We don’t have to wait until we have big teams, we can choose to start cultivating our team cultures from day one.
I’m here to share a few areas that I feel are most important/ have served our team really well!
POSITIVITY. This matters. There will be bumps in the road and hard moments, but we can choose what we allow to trickle down to our teams. Positivity is a choice. NO COMPLAINING.
RESILIENCY. There will be ebbs and flows, ups and downs. We don’t need to be perfect leaders for our teams. What is important, is that we brush ourselves off and keep going! Your journey matters.
SELF SUFFICIENCY. We can model this in the way that we work, but we can also model this in how we work with our builders. Encourage your builders to “fly” and to use the tools and resources that are available to us.
ENCOURAGEMENT. This might be the number one piece of our team culture! Celebration, encouragement, teamwork, cheering one another on! This goes such a long way and really makes all the difference in creating a team atmosphere.
