You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in the email. You may still receive communications that are necessary to administer a transaction, appointment, account, purchase, or service you requested.

SMS AND TEXT MESSAGE COMMUNICATIONS

If you provide your mobile telephone number and consent to receive text messages, LDC Strategies may use SMS or text messaging to communicate with you regarding appointments, services, programs, billing, follow-up, or other communications for which you have provided consent.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply depending upon your mobile carrier and plan.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a text message. Where applicable, you may reply HELP for assistance or contact LDC Strategies directly.

Your consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services unless otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Mobile information, text-messaging opt-in information, and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may, however, use service providers as necessary to facilitate and deliver communications on our behalf.

That last protection intentionally carries forward the substance of the SMS privacy protection contained in your existing policy.

HOW WE MAY SHARE INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to operate LDC Strategies, provide services you request, process transactions, maintain our technology, communicate with you, or comply with legal obligations.

This may include sharing information with service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as:

  • CRM and business-management providers
  • Website and hosting providers
  • Email and communications platforms
  • Scheduling and workflow providers
  • Payment processors
  • Digital-product and program platforms
  • Security and technology providers
  • Professional advisers or other providers necessary to operate our business

These providers may receive only the information reasonably necessary for the services they perform and are subject to their own contractual, privacy, and security obligations.

We may also disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, court order, governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of LDC Strategies, our clients, users, or others.

Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale, or transfer of some or all of our business or assets, subject to applicable law.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

LDC Strategies relies upon third-party technology and service providers to operate portions of our business.

These may include 17hats, Kajabi, Stripe, PayPal, and Square, as well as website hosting, security, communications, and other technology providers.

When you interact with a third-party service, that provider’s own privacy policy and terms may also apply. LDC Strategies does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party providers.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Our website and the technologies used to operate it may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website functionality, security, user preferences, embedded content, or other site features.

Analytics and Website Usage
We use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our website, including information such as pages visited, traffic sources, interactions with website content, and general usage patterns. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. We use these insights to understand website performance and improve our content, services, and visitor experience.

If we introduce additional analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy and any applicable cookie or consent practices to reflect those changes.

LINKS AND EMBEDDED THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Our website may contain links to external websites or services and may include embedded or integrated content provided by third parties.

When you leave our website or interact directly with a third-party service, the privacy practices of that third party may apply. LDC Strategies is not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of websites or services that we do not control.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services you choose to use.

DATA SECURITY

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

We also rely upon security measures provided by the professional technology platforms and service providers we use.

However, no website, electronic transmission, storage system, or method of communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted or stored electronically.

This is a more careful formulation than the current policy’s absolute statement that “we use encryption,” while retaining its commitment to safeguarding information.

DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain appropriate business records, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, accounting, tax, or regulatory obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending upon the type of information, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable requirements.

YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Depending upon where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which may include the ability to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.

You may also:

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those communications
  • Opt out of eligible SMS communications by replying STOP
  • Contact us to update or correct information you have provided

Certain information may need to be retained when required for legal, financial, contractual, security, or legitimate business purposes.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain privacy requests.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

LDC Strategies’ website and services are not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information online from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances prohibited by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to address the information appropriately.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our business practices, technology, services, or applicable requirements.

When we make changes, we may update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through our website or other appropriate means.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
